I used Monte-Carlo simulations to work out the rules to a small kids’ game.
The idea was to start with a seemingly biased game—a race between a tortoise (rolling one die) and a hare (rolling 2 dice)—and to tweak the rules until both players had an equal chance of winning.
It was a fun experiment and the game actually works well!
