I don't understand saying you have an emotional attachment to doing something. Normally you do things in a certain way because it is functional and works. What we're seeing from these LLM companies is them proposing new methods of working which highlights insane ways of "working" (they don't "work") since they're reliant on an LLM, which is just self-marketing.
