It happened over course of generations, while a huge lot of jobs were created in the cities and/or in the industrial centers (also mostly in cities). In the postindustrial stage, a lot of jobs were created in the service areas. Nothing like that is happening now at all. No jobs are created in any field whatsoever; they are only being destroyed.
