The Postmodern Condition is a good one, and it's short. There are still some useful lenses from that era of critical theory, but the discourse has of course moved on over the past 45 years!

I know it’s a bit much to ask but from the top of your head what would you recommend to someone who wants to catch up on the current discourse and who is only really familiar with ancient philosophy and maybe a bit of Zizek?
