Give me the steel man argument for how Trump flipping 180 degrees on TikTok wasn't a cash grab crony capitalism / why he couldn't do the same on any other regulatory subject.
he went along with what the US establishment consensus wanted - tiktok to be part of the US propaganda machine.
biden signed the ban into law, and yet did not enforce it.
trump flipped for election gain more than anything; he realized people like tiktok, and that that would set him apart from biden with genz voters.
everything trump does is a cash grab, but thats the implementation rather than the goal
Concession to China as part of long term work towards peace deal (of Xi visit).
Aren't we already at peace with China?
