Tech never got burned by China like manufacturing did, so their is a lot of naive ignorance around China's "goodwill".

burned? your business leaders willingly sold out your manufacturing industries to make just a little bit more money, knowing itd devastate many. It was your own who sold out your working class time and time again, not "big boogeyman china" pulling the strings.
