My priority with my daughter was to teach her to do what she believes is right, seek what makes her happy, and to not shy away from the difficult.

Beyond that, the interests were her choice to pursue.

I did do quite a lot of seeding though. It did mean at an age when her friends liked iCarly she liked Red Dwarf, The Prisoner, and Tom Lerher.

I think she has done well, over all.
