The person behind this legal warfare is the beIN Sports chairman, Nasser Al-Khelaifi. He is also president of Paris Saint-Germain and chairman of Qatar Sports Investment.

He is, obviously, not French.

His self-claimed annual income was about $15–25 million, and his personal wealth was about $70–100 million.
