Yeah... maybe it's because i'm a video gamer, but i always save and save often.
If you can live without it, remove as much energy savings as possible on a laptop. It saves you from lots of troubles.
With how prevalent the autosave is in modern games I got used to it and I kinda assume it will be true for all of them. I was totally surprised when Lok:SR remaster crashed, and I finally noticed it doesn't do any on its own, like ever.
Autosave is nice, but can sometimes bite you. I have had plenty of occasions in videogames where the game decided to autosave a mere second before impending doom.
