I agree, OpenAI is one of the leaders of the industry and the vision they have sold to investors of the great advancement of the human race is why they are valued at 852bn. Though most outlets and statistics say they are not making a profit, it's also just more axiomatic that OpenAI would focus on their firm's core business which is AI. Building another 100 companies is futile for them, though a little diversification can be advantageous.
