Same reason that Apple doesn't name its series of phones the iPhone cheap, iPhone regular, iPhone semi-expensive, and iPhone expensive. It's poor branding, isn't easily extended to future models, and gets confusing when comparing across model generations, where an iPhone 14 expensive might be cheaper than an iPhone 16 cheap.
I love the current naming scheme and I am excited to see the astronomy trend expand in the future. I hope to see asteroids, binary stars, and solar systems at some point soon, as well as neutron stars, black holes, and eventually galaxies, and clusters of galaxies.
