Jeff Geerling has a great video about this printer that got me up to speed on resin printing as well - coming from the 3d printing world I'm stoked to see the price dropping but it also seems like a lot more hassle to me at this stage

He got one for free in exchange for making a video that glosses over the fact that it uses proprietary resin cartridges.
He does not gloss over that at all. He mentions the Open Material support, and the extra cost for the containers for said support.
