We didn't need LLMs to come up with the genius idea of making every desktop app a web browser.
Software quality was in terminal decline already, the only hope is that LLMs get good enough to dig outselves out of the several miles deep hole that has been dug.
the root problem isn't the code though; its the business and how its run that affects it, llms will just make it amplified imo
It was trained on that declining quality. Now it's just digging faster.
