I think maybe a similar thing in Albania. Lots of people deep-down wanting to emulate the same power structures that oppress them. Cycles of abuse. The ones who don’t leave.

Albania is right now mafia #1 in Europe, after Italy cracked theirs down.

My form of government is conscripted politicians that don’t want to do it.
Anyone that wants it, needs to be kept far away from it.
This is more or less what happened in Serbia. As we know from the outside, professors were selected and approached by students to be put on a list, it was not the other way around.
