had the same thing happen to me. claude added the email address while dowloading stuff from crates.io, for some reason. you can probably easily reproduce this by asking claude to download stuff from a service that asks users to identify themselves in the user agent.

It's crazy how easily people upvote stuff even when the source doesn't provide any evidence!
It's not crazy if you notice their dev admitted to it in this very thread.
There was literally 3 meaningless comments before mine in this thread and no proof in the original issue and it still went viral.
