I have an refurbished iphone sleeping most of the time in my desk drawer, used only for banking apps.
It also make me feel safer not to have always on me the key to all my accounts.

Things like iDeal (wero) require you to use a banking app for most online purchases
Also, Wero is going to be used for tap-to-pay in stores (initial roll-out planned for 2027). Carrying a second phone is going to be old pretty soon. Also, I think we should fight this on principle.
For tap-to-pay you're fucked anyway if they chose to rely on Google pay.
